All Change For The St Helena Association

A Revitalised Committee Formed After Four Well Deserved Retirements

The St Helena Association, registered charity 1042040, today announced a significant change to its committee. This is a major change for The Association on its mission to support the island community by hosting fundraising events in the UK.

After serving on the committee for 10 years, Trevor Toms and Vilma Clingham-Toms have decided to retire.

Vilma and Trevor joined the committee at the request of Owen George MBE to revitalise The Association after several years of decline in both event attendance and funds raised for the island.

Their appointment on the committee led to a significant improvement in the quality of events as well as a well-received change of venue for St Helena Sports Day to Reading Abbey RFC in 2014.
